TALKS/PUBLIC SPEAKING
Observations, experiences and story telling.
I give talks based on my thoughts on subjects related to mans place in nature, hunting and conservation tales from my life in East Africa, or being a woman in an extremely male dominated field. I also do readings from any of my books at literary events, and am happy to partake in panel discussions on the same subjects.
I am equally as happy to speak in English, Danish or Swedish. Please contact me on nib.safari@gmail.com , if you are interested in booking a talk.

After 50 years of living in and off nature, I talk about my experiences out there and share my thoughts on how I see modern man fit in amongst the other animals here, and how feeling lost as a human can have everything to do with not having a conscious relationship with nature.
-
Being a woman, who broke down one of the last strongholds of a mans world, I tell of my road to become Tanzanias only female professional hunter. It was a journey through harshness and beauty, unkindness and friendships from men, women and other animals.
-
What is it to be a hunter? How can that which leads to killing be an important conservation tool? What drives a hunter? The question of hunting and killing up on the table and dissected.

I enjoy giving readings from my books in Danish, English or Swedish. Either in conjunction with my talks or simply to read a story. Even if only a few of my books have been published in English I have them in english and am happy to read them out loud.
DOCUMENTARY FILM WORK
I have hosted two nature/adventure documentary series and am always open to more work in this direction, as long as the aim of the program is to intelligently connect people to nature and the beautiful adventures we can have out there.
Skypaths
A four part documentary series.
On a journey across the world, I retrace the footsteps of Bengt Berg, the pioneering wildlife photographer, writer, explorer and filmmaker - a visionary who took great risks for animals a century ago - my grandfather, whom I never met. From remote Africa, to India and the Himalayas, we repeat his most groundbreaking film expeditions 100 years later. Through Bengt Berg's original writings, wildlife footage and photos, a lens into the past is opened and together a parallel adventure story takes place, where each episode asks a thought provoking question about man's place in nature today.

Mot Alla Odds (Against All Odds)
An eight part TV-series for SVT, in Swedish.
On the following video, you see my work with an eight part series for SVT, called ‘Mot alla odds’ (Against all odds). Here, I took 10 amazing people, each with their one struggles and disabilities, on a month long walk across Namibia. The programme is in Swedish.
PUBLIC APPERANCES
Talkshows, radio, podcasts.
I am sometimes fortunate enough to be invited to appear on interviews in talkshows, radio programs and podcasts. Here I get the opportunity to discuss some of the themes closest to my heart: My books, my profession as a hunter, conservation, and, of course, my desire to help reconnect urbanised man with nature.
Interview in Malou efter tio
Interview on Swedish talkshow.
An interview on national Swedish television, with renowned talkshow host Malou von Sivers. The conversation in Swedish evolves around hunting, poaching, writing and being a mother.
National Swedish Radio
Hosting Sommar i P1. In Swedish.
On this specific programme I present in Swedish for the national radio, Sommar i P1. Interspersed with my favourite music, I talk about my life in Tanzania.
“Life fortunately gave me a dream, and in my world there is no other choice than to follow it.”
