    After having arranged for the funeral of a professional hunter in Tanzania, the well heeled british couple, Beatrice and Thomas, end up getting lost. Lost in their marriage and lost in the bush they are forced to ask themselves what they really want in life. It is a novel about two peoples relationship with each other as much as it is about their individual relationship with nature.

    From New York to Tanzania, these short stories are all about “the other side of the coin”. An unkind aid-worker, a judge who becomes immoral, a terrorist who is likeable, a man who has to sit next to his best friends body for two days, are just a few of the characters presented in these six stories. Each story shines an uncomfortable light upon some of the lies we tell ourselves when it comes to simply recognising good from bad.
